Product description
This Danish floor light from the mid-twentieth century is a classic example of Scandinavian design. Its slender silhouette and the use of warm, natural materials make this a timeless object that perfectly captures the essence of Mid-Century Modern aesthetics. The lamp is made of solid teak wood, characterized by an elegant, tapered stand resting on a round wooden base. A brass-colored metal tube connects the wooden part to the socket, adding a subtle contrast to the design. The lamp is equipped with an original socket and wiring with a European plug. The warm brown hue of the teak wood is beautifully showcased and emphasizes the natural wood grain. The floor light is in good vintage condition, with the wood having developed an authentic patina that testifies to its age and previous use. The construction is sturdy, and the lamp functions properly, retaining its original character. This refined lighting object will look excellent in a minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired interior. It provides warm, atmospheric lighting next to an armchair or sofa, adding a touch of historical elegance to any modern living space.
