Denmark - 1970's
Large vintage Danish suspension lamp in white lacquered metal.
Excellent condition, with slight signs of use.
No dents, no distortion.
The suspension uses the classic Scandinavian multi-shade system.
Design Lights is part of the modern Danish design tradition that works with the multi-shade system.
This system was first developed with architect Poul Henningsen's famous PH5, published by Louis Poulsen in the early 20th century.
Scandinavian lighting is recognizable by its design.
Lamps are not just intended to light a room.
They shape light and sculpt space, blending harmoniously into the room without the bulb being visible, creating a soft, inviting atmosphere.
