Vintage Mid-Century Illum Wikkelsø Model 20 Lounge Chair In Black Leather & Teak – 1960s
A stunning vintage Danish Model 20 lounge chair, designed by the renowned Illum Wikkelsø and expertly manufactured by N. Eilersen in Denmark during the 1960s. Beautifully proportioned and exceptionally comfortable, this iconic chair is a wonderful example of classic Scandinavian mid-century modern design.
Upholstered in luxurious, soft black leather, the chair features generous loose seat and back cushions filled with a combination of feather and foam, providing exceptional comfort and support. The elegant solid teak frame, with its beautifully sculpted arms and clean architectural lines, perfectly complements the rich leather upholstery, creating a timeless piece that will suit both contemporary and vintage interiors.
The quality of craftsmanship is evident throughout, reflecting the exceptional standards of Danish furniture making from this era. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the beautifully shaped teak frame to the luxurious seating experience.
The chair is presented in excellent vintage condition, with an attractive patina consistent with its age. The leather has been professionally cleaned and conditioned, while the teak frame has been carefully polished, ensuring it is ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
