The Jens Quistgaard Spider candle holder is an iconic design from the 1960s, manufactured for Dansk Designs. This specific model, characterized by its sculptural, spider-like shape, is a classic example of mid-20th century Danish design.
The candle holder is entirely made of cast iron and has a dark, almost black finish. With a diameter of 12 centimeters and a height of 3.5 centimeters, it is a compact yet striking object. The design accommodates twelve very thin candles, also known as Tiny Tapers, with a diameter of 6 to 7 millimeters. The object features the original stamps on the underside, confirming its authenticity.
