Product description
This "Circle" pendant lamp is a rare vintage design piece from the 80s or early 90s, designed by Bent Gantzel-Boysen for Ikea. Type T712. This iconic space age pendant lamp, designed by Bent Gantzel-Boysen for Ikea, is a true work of art. The lamp shows light signs of use on the Plexiglas, including some scratches (please see the photos for details). Otherwise in neat condition. In our opinion, this is not bothersome. Gantzel-Boysen's designs are characterized by their functionality, flexibility, and simple aesthetics, making them timeless and still relevant today. The designer, who designed for other companies such as Ikea in addition to his work at Louis Poulsen, designed this pendant lamp. Dimensions (always approx): Height 95 cm, Shade Height 16 cm, Shade Diameter 48 cm (the height is measured from the ceiling as shown in the photos).
The dimensions are for the item itself. Please allow for 7-10 cm of extra packaging material during shipping. We always ship with insurance, possible disassembly, and packaging. Our working method is based on prioritizing quality, reliability, and safety for both parties, should anything unexpected occur during the shipping process. If your destination country is not listed, please contact us via message. Dimensions may vary very slightly. You will receive the lamp without light sources, as these are very fragile and prone to breakage during transport/shipping. Materials: Made of transparent acrylic/plastic and metal, often with blue accents.
