This coat rack has always hung at my parents' house and was presumably bought by them in the 1960s. They had several pieces of furniture by the brand Gispen, so I thought this would be Gispen as well, but it is not mentioned anywhere. The coat rack is still in good condition. The chrome is clearly a bit aged, but what do you expect after 65 years of intensive use.... The wooden backing is covered with black faux leather.
