This coat rack is believed to have been made in the former Czechoslovakia, in the 1950s. It is made of white painted tubular steel with a small red plastic tray at the foot for umbrellas. This red detail is echoed in the red wooden stops at the end of each leg and at the end of each coat hook at the top. This particular design was popular and widely used. These hangers were found in offices, hospitals, hotels, pubs, but also in private homes. Due to its practicality, color combination with the almost "pop art" looking red stops, this piece fits perfectly in any modern interior. The coat rack is in very good vintage condition, without any damage. The surface was recently repainted in the original colors to return to its former glory.
