Strips bed designed by Cini Boeri for Arflex
With wooden structure covered with stress-resistant polyurethane foam with differentiated density and fiber covering. The bed features a fully removable quilted cover.
The main feature of this bed is a removable quilted cover. This idea was applied to the Strips bed, where the cover becomes part of the bed itself: by opening a simple zipper, the bed is ready, only a cushion needs to be added.
The Strips collection is a masterpiece in the history of Arflex, one of its most famous products, designed in 1972 and awarded the Compasso D'Oro Premium, and exhibited in various museums around the world such as the Triennial in Milan, Tokyo, Moma in New York, etc.
A very rare bed and also in this pattern!!! Also, considering its age and compared to other extant models, the bed is in excellent condition!
I bought the bed in Italy from a design dealer.
