History:
The Terracotta Army was discovered in 1974 by farmers digging a pit outside Xi'an, China, one of the most significant archaeological finds of the 20th century. Buried with Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of a unified China, around 210 BC, the army of over 8,000 life-sized clay soldiers was created to protect him in the afterlife. Each figure was depicted with individual facial features, rank-specific armor, and accurate military details, and no two are exactly alike. When the discovery attracted worldwide attention and the figures were exhibited internationally in the 1980s, replicas like these became coveted souvenirs and collector's items, bringing a piece of one of the greatest wonders of history into homes all over the world.
Give this piece of history the home it deserves.
