The square table, in black lacquered wood, offers a chessboard composed of squares in sycamore and mahogany. It is underlined by a net of amaranth, and by a frame in burr elm. It is removable, and conceals a felted compartment to store game pieces, including the set of wooden chess pieces provided in this set. The mitered top of this table has its underside beveled inward. It rests on a U-shaped structure composed of two side elements and a beveled base.This table is sold with its two black lacquered wooden chairs, with a rectangular structure and narrow backs.
