Vintage design chair, tubular chrome structure, 1960s-1970s
Chair with a decidedly minimalist and graphic design, typical of seating design from the 1960s-70s. The structure is made of fine chrome steel tubing, forming a four-legged base and a high cantilevered backrest, with no embellishments — a pure geometric line that highlights the contrast between the shiny metal and the fabric.
The seat and backrest, generously padded, are covered in original orange woven fabric, featuring the characteristic textured grain of the era. They are mounted in a "floating" manner on the structure, slightly detached from the chrome frame, which enhances the visual lightness of the whole — a fixing method found in several Scandinavian and Dutch publishers from this period.
