This exceptionally comfortable office chair/armchair was designed in the 1960s by product designer Karl Dittert for Stoll Giroflex and has grown into a true classic. Dittert worked as a teacher, professor, and founding rector at what is now the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Design. His works have received numerous awards and are exhibited internationally in renowned museums (including MOMA/New York and the Design Center/Stuttgart). Stoll is a furniture manufacturer that has specialized in the production of office furniture since the 1870s.
This special chair is upholstered in beautiful quality cognac-colored leather and features an oak backrest and seat shell. The chair is in good condition with some signs of use on the wood. The armchair's swivel mechanism operates smoothly, as do the reclining function and height adjustment. By adjusting the height, the seat can be varied between 46 and 59 cm. The chair is marked.
