A beautiful ceramic set comprising a pitcher/vase and two matching double-arm candlesticks, characteristic of West German (WGP) production from the 1960s-70s.
The set features a Space Age aesthetic with a striking graphic contrast between deep black and pure white.
The bodies of the pieces display a relief of horizontal patterns with a glossy black glaze highlighting the geometry of the relief and a glossy pure white glaze providing a textured and modern effect.
Note: The vertical line between the two colors is perfectly crisp and straight. Although unsigned, the origin and craftsmanship are typical of German craftsmanship of the period.
Pitcher/Vase: Height 24 cm, neck diameter 14 cm, width with handle 20 cm
2 Double-Arm Candlesticks: Height 17 cm, width 17 cm
Excellent overall condition. No cracks or chips on any of the three pieces.
