Authentic ceramic lamp base from the renowned French manufacturer Louis Drimmer, dating from the 1970s-1980s. This magnificent Chinoiserie-style piece features a deep, glossy burgundy glaze (reminiscent of oriental oxblood), adorned with an elegant hand-painted floral design in relief depicting white irises and touches of yellow. The piece rests on an ornate hexagonal base in gilt metal (brass/spelter), typical of the brand's high-end production. Features: Original handwritten signature "L. Drimmer" visible on the base. Style: Vintage. Sold complete with its lampshade, as seen in the photos. Original wiring in working order. Condition: Very good overall condition. The ceramic is superb, without any cracks or chips. The gilding on the base is well preserved. Ideal for adding a warm and elegant retro touch to a living room, office, or bedroom. Hand delivery preferred due to the fragility of the item (or very careful and ultra-protected shipping in bubble wrap).
