Vintage Carpet “NÍLUS” – A Classic of Hungarian Design An original piece from the 1970s, manufactured by Tatai Szőnyeggyár (Lakástextil Vállalat, Hungary). 🖼️ An identical model is part of the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest. The design is by Erzsébet Béres (LATEX Studio) and was exhibited in 1974 under the title Fáraó kettős velour szőnyeg. 🌀 Model: NÍLUS 📐 Dimensions: approx. 200 × 300 cm 🧷 Material: dense synthetic velour 📍 Origin: Hungary, circa 1974 🔖 Comes with the original factory label preserved A rare artifact from the mid-century modern and space age era — ideal for interiors with bold character and a love for design heritage.
