Add a piece of fine craftsmanship steeped in history to your home. This magnificent domed trunk-shaped box is an iconic creation from the Spanish workshops of Capo Esmaltes, dating back to the 1970s. The structure is crafted from stained and grooved solid wood, offering a rustic yet elegant textured appearance. Its silhouette is directly inspired by antique Spanish treasure chests and travel trunks. The centerpiece of its decoration lies in its numerous cabochons. These are domed art enamels, traditionally fired on copper. Each cabochon reveals superb marbled shades of turquoise blue, mother-of-pearl, and terracotta, giving the box a unique character. The original hammered brass hardware provides a perfect contrast. The decorative hinges and the metal's patina underscore its authenticity.
