Set of 2 Vintage Capiz Shell Pendant Lamps – Handmade – 1960s/70s – Beautiful Floral Motif
For sale: two beautiful vintage pendant lamps made of Capiz shells, featuring a unique geometric floral design in warm shades of red, orange, and green.
The lamp has a recognizable mid-century look, typical of the filigree Capiz shell fixtures that were especially popular in the 1960s and 1970s.

Decorative floral inlay in stained glass style.
Beautiful vintage condition with minor signs of age (normal for these lamps).
On one side of one lamp, there is damage to the mounting of a shell and one dent in the shell; see the last photos. The metal is also somewhat worn. Nothing to see but hanging.
These lamps were primarily produced in the Philippines during the 1960s and 1970s, when Capiz shell lamps became popular worldwide as exotic, warm-colored home decor.
