A special vintage object with an appearance you won't easily find elsewhere. This old butcher block is made of solid wood and features a sturdy metal band all around, complete with visible rivets. The thick wooden top bears the traces of its original use and gives the block a beautiful, lived-in look. The four obliquely placed legs are fitted with metal bases, giving the whole an almost sculptural appearance. Precisely because its original function is no longer fixed, you can use it in many ways. Place a large green plant on it and use it as a plant stand or Plant table. Or turn it into a striking plinth or pillar for an art object, vase, or special find. In a shop, it's a characterful display stand to literally give a product a stage. It also forms a powerful decorative element in the hall, living room, or bedroom.
