About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
A set of four vintage dining chairs with a tubular frame construction. The design combines a chrome-plated steel sled base with soft, brown corduroy upholstery, a characteristic combination from the seventies. The chairs are made with a continuous tubular frame of chrome-plated metal, which provides slight springiness and a modern silhouette. The seat and backrest are upholstered with a durable, dark brown corduroy fabric that offers both comfort and a warm texture. This type of chair, inspired by the Bauhaus movement, was very popular in the 1970s due to its minimalist and functional design. The set is in good vintage condition, with a character appropriate for its age. The original upholstery and chrome frame are well preserved but show slight signs of wear here and there. The construction of the chairs is solid and they are ready for immediate use. These chairs fit perfectly into an eclectic, vintage, or industrial interior. They function perfectly as dining chairs, but can also be used as stylish accent chairs in a living or working space.
