About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A sophisticated and rare mid-century modernist 3-arm candelabra featuring a striking mixed-metal construction. The central stem and the tiered double-disc base are hand-crafted from heavy welded iron, while the angular geometric arms, drip pans, and candle cups are crafted from solid bronze.
The design presents a powerful asymmetric silhouette, with the bronze arms bent into sharp right angles to frame the central iron pillar. Each arm terminates in a wide circular bronze plate equipped with a cylindrical candle cup to secure the candles. The heavy iron base is uniquely detailed with subtle, elegant golden highlights and reflections inherent to the metalwork, beautifully complementing the warm tones of the bronze elements.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with great weight and structural integrity. The authentic mixed-metal patina shows beautiful aging and original golden reflections on the base, with only minor signs of wear consistent with its vintage nature. Completely clean and ready to display.
Style: Brutalist / Mid-Century Modern / Mixed-Metal Eclectic
