About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
An exceptionally sculptural and brutalist-style wall lamp, likely originating from a studio or small ceramics manufacturer in the Netherlands or Belgium in the 1960s or 1970s.
This piece functions both as an architectural feature and a unique light source. Crafted from heavy, rough fireclay (or coarse stoneware), the wall lamp features a dramatic, three-dimensional geometric design.
The surface is hand-sculpted to create flowing, organic curves and sharp, chiseled edges, embodying the raw, powerful aesthetic of the Brutalist movement.
