A beautiful and authentic collector's item by the renowned Israeli artist Wainberg. This small bowl is a rare early example from the 1950s, which is immediately apparent in its quality and robust construction.
Features of this unique piece:
Solid Casting: Unlike later souvenirs, this bowl is heavily constructed with a wall thickness of no less than 2 mm.
Brutalist Design: The skyline of Jerusalem is cast in high relief, featuring beautiful details of the iconic buildings and palm trees.
Materials: Crafted from solid brass with a deep, natural patina. Inlaid with an authentic green Eilat stone (chrysocolla) and detailed with colorful enamel.
Signature: Fully marked on the underside with the original "Wainberg" stamp.
Condition:
The object is in excellent vintage condition. It has been carefully cleaned, preserving the characteristic patina in the deeper areas, creating a stunning 3D contrast.
