Exceptional porthole or ship's porthole in English bronze, original from the 20s or 30s of the 20th century. A porthole is a circular window used both in architecture and in airplanes, ships or nautical construction. The need for the circular shape is due to the fact that it allows the longitudinal and transverse stresses produced by vibrations to be reduced. Greater resistance is thus achieved.
Aged bronze shows a warm patina, a sign of the passage of time. It can be used as a historical object, converted into a mirror or side table, or placed on a wall as a decorative and original architectural element. A true nautical relic, perfect for any lover of naval themes.
