Product description
Rare and exceptional lacquered and brass sofa from the House of Jansen dating from the 70s. This lacquered series with a bronze-bronze finish was produced to order only. The proportions, the design, the base, the bar hidden under the armrest, the brass base, all details are superb, and of a rare quality of finish. This sofa has been fully restored and reupholstered in a wool loop fabric from Lelievre Paris - Reference Lama, and also includes a stool with a brass base, reupholstered in the same fabric. The set is in a superb state of preservation. A truly rare piece, in the pure 1970's style, signature of the House of Jansen of that era.
