About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage porcelain box, characterized by its octagonal shape and hand-painted decoration. The object features a classic Asian design, with a lid that fits seamlessly onto the base.
The box is made of white porcelain and is hand-decorated with floral motifs. The images of lotus flowers in pink and green hues are accented by blue details and borders. The bottom is marked 'Made in China', indicating its origin. The octagonal shape is consistently applied to both the base and the lid.
The overall condition of the box is consistent with its age, with the glaze still having a bright sheen. The hand-painted nature ensures that every detail is unique, contributing to the authentic appearance of the object.
This decorative object is suitable for storing small jewelry or other valuables. It can be a refined addition to a dressing table, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection on a sideboard, fitting within a classic or Asian-inspired interior.
