Vintage blue and turquoise bubble vase, large cast hexagonal design vase with hollow bubbles and indentations by Stolle Nieman, Poland, 1970s.
While similar designs from Czechoslovakia were made of thick glass, the techniques of the Polish factories favored similar motifs with thinner glass. The convex indentations catch the light from all angles, making the pattern appear to constantly shift as you change perspective.
The high-quality workmanship reflects the high level of craftsmanship for which Poland is renowned.
The vase is in pristine vintage condition. It has two imperfections caused by the manufacturing process: an air bubble at the bottom of the base and a small glass thread on one of the sides. These imperfections are not considered damage in the vintage world, but rather a way to demonstrate authenticity. Check the photos for more details!
