Product description
Mid-century, vintage, "Model #92" stool by Baumann, France, from the 1950's.
Piece is made of beech, with a beautiful bentwood design (see photos.)
Piece is in overall good, original and vintage condition, with some marks, signs of age, some areas of faded color and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, seat and edging, (see photos with a 1 cent coin for perspective) legs, and under the seat, which can be expected for a piece of this age. (see photos.) Some slightly wrinkled areas of age and time on the seat , but nothing that affects its cool look or functionality (see photos.)
- Piece is solid and stable.
- It has only been gently cleaned, oiled and waxed, with respect to its original patina of time.
