Product description
This is a vintage sculpture of Madonna and Child, made by Lumen Venlo. The piece has a distinctive, stylized form that gives a modern twist to a classic religious theme.
The sculpture is made from a composite material with a 'bronze look' finish, giving it the appearance of heavy bronze without the weight. With a height of 26 cm, it is a modest yet striking object. On the back, the model number 20.016 and the marking 'EIG L.V.' are visible, referring to the maker Lumen Venlo. The texture is rough and expressive, which enhances the emotion of the scene.
The sculpture is in good vintage condition, with a patina that contributes to its character. The finish is generally intact and charmingly shows the age of the piece. It is a beautiful example of religious art from the mid-20th century.
This sculpture fits perfectly on a dresser, mantelpiece, or in a bookcase. It adds a touch of understated elegance and history to both classic and modern interiors.
