Private sellerProduct description
This is a classic sculpture by the Italian artist A. Santini, titled 'The Bather'. The statue depicts an elegant female figure in a graceful pose, characteristic of the refined style of Santini's work. The object is crafted from a composite material that mimics the appearance of ivory or marble, presented in a soft cream color. It rests on a contrasting black base, which accentuates the light hue of the statue. The artist's signature and the inscription 'Italy' are visibly engraved in the base, along with an original label confirming its provenance. The statue is in good condition, retaining its original charm and detailing. The finish displays the craftsmanship and attention to anatomical proportions typical of this period. This sculpture is perfectly suited to a classic or eclectic interior. It forms a subtle yet striking decorative element on a sideboard, in a display cabinet, or on a mantelpiece.
