Product description
This vintage bedside lamp in the style of Mathieu Matégot brings an authentic mid-century character to the bedroom. The design stands out thanks to the distinctive perforated metal shade, a technique inextricably linked to French design from the 1950s.
The lamp is crafted from metal with a contrasting black and white color scheme, complemented by brass-colored accents on the adjustable arm and the base. The conical shade houses a perforated inner shade that ensures a soft, diffuse light distribution, ideal as a reading lamp. The triangular base features an original push switch.
The fixture is in good vintage condition with a charming patina that attests to its age. The original finish has been preserved and the lamp is fully functional.
This compact light fixture comes into its own perfectly on a nightstand in a retro or Scandinavian-inspired interior. It adds a subtle graphic element to the room and combines effortlessly with warm woods and other vintage finds.
