About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This textured glass vase from Ravenhead embodies the distinctive aesthetic of British design from the 1960s and 70s. Its sculptural and organic form makes it a sought-after collector's item for vintage glass enthusiasts.
Made in England, this cylindrical vase is crafted from clear glass with a textured finish that mimics tree bark. This molding technique creates a captivating play of light, highlighting the raised and recessed areas of the material. The slender silhouette and raw details reflect the influence of the Brutalist movement on the decorative arts of this era.
The piece is in excellent condition, preserving its structural integrity and original brilliance. The thick, robust glass ensures perfect stability, while the pronounced texture adds a tactile dimension to the object.
This vase integrates seamlessly into a Mid-Century Modern or Scandinavian-style interior. It can be displayed alone as a sculptural object or accommodate minimalist floral arrangements, bringing a touch of authenticity and character to a living room or dining room.
