Product description
This vintage bamboo lounge chair and matching side table set exemplifies the organic modernism of mid-century design. The set features a distinctive swivel base on the chair, offering both comfort and a dynamic presence in any interior space.
Constructed entirely from natural bamboo, the set showcases traditional bending and binding techniques, with a "Made in Indonesia" label visible on the frame. The light beige tone of the bamboo highlights the material's natural grain and texture, bringing a warm, earthy element to the design. The accompanying circular side table mirrors the chair's construction, providing a cohesive aesthetic.
The set remains in good condition, retaining its structural integrity and original finish. The bamboo has developed a natural patina over time, adding to its vintage character and authenticity.
Ideal for a sunroom, conservatory, or a living area styled with bohemian or organic modern influences, this set pairs well with lush indoor plants and textured textiles. It offers a relaxed yet structured seating arrangement that invites leisure and conversation. The seat has a sprig system which gives a swing felling by moving backwards and forwards.
