This vintage B60 teak highboard by Dieter Waeckerlin for Behr is an impressive example of German mid-century design. With a width of almost two and a half meters, the piece of furniture has a monumental presence, while the slender metal legs and clean lines make it appear surprisingly light. Behind the four calm teak doors lies a generous and well-thought-out interior with various compartments and adjustable shelves. Below the doors runs a subtle row of four drawers, almost seamlessly integrated into the design. The warm glow and vertical grain of the teak form a beautiful contrast with the dark, minimalist metal base. It is precisely this combination of sophistication and functionality that makes this vintage B60 teak highboard so characteristic of Waeckerlin's design language. The highboard has been fully inspected and is in very good vintage condition.
