Product description
This is a vintage Pendant lamp by the Austrian manufacturer Austrolux, a characteristic design from the mid-20th century. The design is characterized by its layered structure and the use of textured glass, which creates an atmospheric and diffuse light.
The fixture consists of two cylindrical shades of thick, pressed glass with a decorative pattern. These are separated by a central band of chromed metal, which offers an elegant contrast. This lamp is a typical example of Austrian lighting design from the Mid-Century Modern period, circa 1960-1970.
The lamp is in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and use. The glass is intact and the chrome retains its shine, contributing to the authentic appearance of the object. The original wiring is present and functional.
