Elegant vintage glass bud vase in a deep aubergine purple hue, designed by Bo Borgström for the renowned Swedish glass factory Aseda Glasbruk.
This iconic Scandinavian design model from the sixties or seventies is also known as a bone vase or knob vase due to its distinctive organic shape.
The vase is handmade with a slender, colored neck that transitions into a wide, asymmetrically shaped collar. The solid, transparent base is crafted with a controlled bubble technique, also known in the glass world as bullicante, which creates a beautiful optical effect in the light. The object is in excellent vintage condition without cracks, chips, or restorations.
