Product description
Decorative vintage glass bowl made of light blue tinted pressed glass with an expressive, sculptural design.
The bowl has a strikingly curved, wavy rim with ends pulled outwards and partly rolled up. From the solid base, strong, radiating ribs extend upwards, creating a beautiful play of light, reflections and different shades of blue.
The combination of a floral-looking silhouette, heavy pressed glass and geometric relief clearly recalls the design of European Art Deco glassware of the 1940s.
Ideal as a fruit or candy bowl, for jewelry and smaller items, or simply as a decorative glass object on a sideboard, table or display cabinet.
Condition
Good used vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. The glass shows occasional light surface and usage marks.
Dimensions: L24 x W24 x H14 cm
