This impressive chandelier from the early twentieth century is a striking example of the Art Deco period. The design is characterized by a robust, layered structure and a refined combination of materials typical of the early 1910s.
The fixture is crafted from a combination of copper and brass, resulting in a warm, two-tone palette. The central column and the wide ring support multiple light points, fitted with original Osram frosted glass bulbs from 1910. These bulbs are sold at an additional cost. At the base is a larger, partially cut glass shade that ensures a soft, diffuse light distribution. The detailed finish with geometric and floral motifs in the metalwork attests to the high-quality craftsmanship of that era.
The chandelier is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. Over the years, the metal has developed an authentic patina, which contributes to the historical character of the piece. The glass elements are intact and contribute to the original appearance. This fixture comes into its own perfectly in a classic or eclectic interior with high ceilings.
