A handsome, large bronze sculpture by Alexandre Kelety, with a harmonious green patina, depicting an athletic man sowing seeds across a field. The sculpture rests on sea-green marble, where the artist's signature is discreetly carved in point-work.Charismatic and delicately crafted, this Art Deco bronze will fit easily into your home. Alexandre Kelety (1874-1940) was a Hungarian sculptor born in Budapest. He studied under Imre Karoly Simay (1874-1955), a famous Hungarian sculptor and painter. Kelety emigrated to France after the First World War. His sculptures were exhibited at the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes.
