Unique and very particular large brass ornamental wall piece, made in the 1920s, unmistakably in the style of the Amsterdam or The Hague School, with jagged details and a nice patina.
Height is 140cm and width 80cm.
Reminiscent of Winkelman and van der Bijl, and probably designed for a 1930s shopfront in The Hague, as the original owner mentioned. The brass has a lot of patina, as visible on the images, due to having been outside on a city street for many decades. It would probably be a shame polishing this off.
