This is a vintage table lamp, actually a vase, from the American manufacturer Anchor Hocking, executed in a characteristic Art Deco style. The design is characterized by the elegant, ribbed structure of the glass base, reminiscent of a stylized shell or palm leaf. The base of the lamp is made of white opaline glass, which provides a soft and diffuse glow when the lamp is switched on. The surface has a glossy finish that accentuates the detailed relief. The lamp is equipped with a cylindrical lampshade, covered with a taupe-colored textile fabric that spreads a warm and atmospheric light. The dual function as a vase, as the title suggests, offers additional versatility, although it was primarily designed as a lighting object.
