This is a vintage table lamp, actually a vase, from the American manufacturer Anchor Hocking, executed in a characteristic Art Deco style. The design is characterized by the elegant, ribbed structure of the glass base, reminiscent of a stylized shell or palm leaf. The base of the lamp is made of white opaline glass, which provides a soft and diffuse glow when the lamp is switched on. The surface has a glossy finish that accentuates the detailed relief. The lamp is equipped with a cylindrical lampshade, covered with a taupe-colored textile fabric that spreads a warm and atmospheric light. The dual function as a vase, as the title suggests, offers additional versatility, although it was primarily designed as a lighting object. The overall condition of the lamp is excellent, in accordance with its age. The glassware is intact and the lamp is fully functional, as can be seen in the images.
