The armchair was manufactured in the 1960s in the now defunct German Democratic Republic. Its appearance resembles that of Italian furniture, but with German precision and solidity. The armchair has undergone a complete renovation. This involved removing the old material, sponges and strips. The next step was to fit new straps and a sponge. The renovation was crowned with a magnificent velvet coating with stain-resistant properties - the feet were cleaned and repainted with teak varnish. All stages of the renovation were carried out by hand - using the same old methods as in the original. It looks great. All stages of the renovation were carried out with the original production process in mind.
It is possible to change the fabric after purchase.
A sofa from the same set is also available in another listing (last photo).
