Product description
A rare and exceptionally stylish Danish set: the iconic 2431 armchair with matching ottoman, model 2202, designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia in the 1960s. This set is a prime example of Mogensen's vision where functionality and comfort come together in a clear design. The clean design is softened by the use of soft, thick leather and the warm look of solid oak legs. Both items are in excellent vintage condition. The black leather is supple and well maintained, with minimal signs of use. This model was briefly in production and is still rarely offered. The similar model, the 2204 by Borge Mogensen, and the ottoman are still produced by Fredericia.
