About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
The Amanta Lounge Chair is an iconic design from the golden age of Italian design in the 1970s. Designed by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia, this exceptional armchair combines architectural clarity with extraordinary seating comfort.
The design is defined by the striking contrast between the exposed, light-lacquered steel frame and the generously sized, softly upholstered leather cushions. The clean lines lend the chair an almost floating lightness, while the voluminous cushions create a particularly comfortable seating experience. The intense petrol blue underscores the distinctive design and makes the chair a striking design object.
Mario Bellini's modular furniture is among the most important designs in Italian furniture design and is highly sought-after by collectors internationally. The Amanta Lounge Chair is equally suitable as a standalone piece in the living room or as a high-quality statement piece in lounges, hotels, or offices.
