Product description
Add an iconic piece of French design to your interior with this beautiful Airborne 'Deauville' armchair. This chair was designed in 1962 by Marc and Pierre Simon and was originally created for the luxurious dining rooms of the legendary ocean liner SS France. Later, the model became a beloved icon within Mid-Century Modern design.
This specific piece is extra special and rare: instead of the completely black version, this chair features a fixed, deep green fabric seat. The texture of the woven wool forms a brilliant, warm contrast with the sleek, black skai leather shell and the slender metal legs. The seat is beautifully attached to the shell, exactly as the original construction was intended.
A comfortable eye-catcher with a rich historical story, perfect for the vintage design enthusiast. Price is for 2 pieces.
