Product description
This vintage Desk is an authentic piece of furniture from the 1960s, crafted with a focus on both aesthetics and functionality. The design combines a warm wooden top with a robust metal base, characteristic of the design era. Its most distinctive feature is the height-adjustable mechanism, an advanced function for its time that makes the Desk particularly versatile.
The Desk is constructed with a top featuring a rich wood grain, resting on two panel legs connected by a crossbar for added stability. The height adjustment is made possible by four chrome columns operated by a crank mechanism under the top. This combination of warm wood and cool, shiny metal creates a balanced and timeless appearance typical of the Mid-Century Modern style.
The furniture is in good vintage condition, with a patina that reflects the character and history of the piece. The overall construction is solid and the adjustment mechanism is functional, testifying to the durable quality of craftsmanship from this period. The surface shows traces consistent with its age and use, contributing to its authentic charm.
Thanks to its clean lines and practical function, this Desk is an excellent addition to a modern home office or study. It fits seamlessly into interiors with a preference for vintage, Mid-Century Modern, or eclectic decor, offering a spacious and adaptable work surface.
