Never used, as new, complete with original sticker.
1. History and Origin of the Brand
• German Origin: The designation "Marke Tischfein" (German for 'table-fine' or 'neat for the table') was a well-known German brand for household items and tableware.
• Link with WMF: In the course of the 20th century, the Tischfein brand was acquired by and integrated into the well-known German concern WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik). WMF primarily used the brand name Tischfein for functional, affordable, and high-quality glass and kitchenware.
• Era: This specific model, named "Nussi", dates from the 1960s or 1970s. During this period (the Mid-Century and Space Age retro-era), such glass 'Nusskannen' (nut jars) with a cork stopper were enormously popular in Germany and the Netherlands for hygienically and stylishly serving peanuts and other nuts at parties or during drinks.
