This is a four-part vintage collection from Initia, an encyclopedic series that takes you on a journey through the world of the 1980s. The set offers a nostalgic look at geography and culture, packaged in a characteristic retro design.
The collection consists of four dark brown, plastic ring binders. Inside you will find spiral-bound paper pages, full of color photos, maps, and informative texts about various countries. The typography and design are typical of the 1980s, and handy tabs help you navigate easily between the different regions.
The set is in good vintage condition, as you would expect from an item with some life experience. The ring binders and pages are complete and intact. This collection is a nice decorative and informative object for a bookshelf or a coffee table, adding an intellectual and retro touch to your interior. Special historical detail: The folder with North Yemen makes this set extra unique. This country ceased to exist in 1990 after reunification with South Yemen, which further emphasizes the typical 1980s character of this encyclopedia.
