This small aluminum moka pot was made in the late 1970s by the Italian brand Bialetti. It is a classic stovetop espresso maker, produced in Crusinallo, Italy, in the late 70s and 80s. This specific retro model is highly sought after by collectors and is known for the "ZANZIBAR" stamp or engraving directly on the side of the octagonal base. It is intended for brewing 1 or 2 cups of espresso.
The moka pot, invented in 1933 by Alfonso Bialetti, has grown into an icon of "Made in Italy" and is world-famous. In addition to its distinctive design, the moka pot revolutionized the Italian way of drinking coffee, making it an everyday habit and no longer confined to bars.
PLEASE NOTE: Although the moka pot is in good vintage, used condition, the handle shows some damage. The black plastic has some melt damage, likely due to contact with an open flame. Height: 14 centimeters
