Beautiful original vintage dining chair, believed to date from the late 1950s to early 1960s, featuring an elegant Mid-Century Modern design with Scandinavian influences.
The chair features a slender, likely solid beechwood frame with gracefully tapered legs and a distinctive curved, teak-veneered plywood “butterfly” backrest. Its clean lines, balanced proportions and sculptural shape are characteristic of European furniture design from this period.
Offered in original, unrestored vintage condition, with an attractive natural patina and age-related signs of use on the wooden frame.
The existing seat upholstery shows considerable wear and staining and would benefit from reupholstering.
